Please review the following Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental rules & Smoky Mountain Cottage Rental regulations for Smoky Cabins before you make your smoky mtn cabin rental reservation. The smoky mountain cabin rental guest is responsible for knowing the smoky mountain cabin rental rules and smoky mountain cottage rental regulations and adhering to them. Introduction - All smoky mountain cabin rental and smoky mountain vacation rental properties are privately owned and furnished by the homeowners of the smoky mountain cabins. All smoky mountain cabin rentals, smoky mountain chalet rentals and smoky mountain cottage rentals have the basic log cabin rental amenities such as fully equipped kitchens. Parties - No loud or house parties are allowed in any of the smoky mountain cabin rentals. If you are found to be having a loud/house party, you will be asked to evacuate the smoky mountain cabin rental immediately with no refund of cabin rental premium. Refusal - We have the right to refuse to rent our cabins to any guest at any time. We reserve the right to cancel a smoky mountain cabin rental reservation at any time. Basic Amenities - Heat and A/C, Stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, flatware, utensils, pots and pans, color TV/VCR, fire and smoke detectors, towels, pillows and bed linens, washcloths and bath mats and blankets. Each smoky mountain cabin rental or smoky mountain cottage rental Unit also has a starter supply of bar soap, dish soap, toilet paper and paper towel. Smoky Mountain cabin rental, Smoky Mountain chalet rental, and Smoky Mountain cottage rental Guests Should Supply - Items that the Smoky Mountain cabin rental guest will need to supply will be, Charcoal for the grill, fire starter or kindling, iron & ironing boards, extra blankets, cribs and foil, plastic wrap and laundry soap, coffee filters and condiments. Decorations - Some of our Smoky Mountain cabin rental units are decorated for the holidays, but not all. Smoky Mountain cabin rental and Smoky Mountain Cottage Rental Guests may put up Christmas trees during their stay only if they are artificial. Smoky Mountain cabin rental and Smoky Mountain Cottage Rental Guests must properly dispose of all cabin rental and vacation rental decorations upon departure. Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental Reservations - Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental and Smoky Mountain Cottage Rental Reservations may be made up to one year in advance. The day you make your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental reservations, your deposit is due either by Visa, Discover or Master Card or you have 7 days to mail in a check or money order. The Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental deposit is 1/3 of the total. The balance of the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental is due at least 14 days (two weeks) before your arrival date, either by Visa or MasterCard, Discover or money order. No personal checks will be taken less then 14 days of your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental arrival date. There will be a $25.00 dollar service charge will be added to any returned checks. Your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental, Smoky Mountain Cottage Rental, and Smoky Mountain Chalet Rental reservations can either be made by calling our Smoky Cabins office or making Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental reservations on line. Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental Cancellation Policy - Due to holding these Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental accommodations and in consideration of the fact that we did not rent this Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental unit or these dates to others, we cannot return any Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental payments unless you cancel 30 days prior to your arrival date (30 days). If you cancel and the date is greater then (30 days) from your arrival date we will refund your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental deposit, less our administration fee of $25.00. If you cancel less then 30 days to your arrival day, you forfeit all monies, unless we can rent out the Log Cabin Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental that you reserved. If we do, we will send you a refund of your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental deposit minus the cancellation fee of $25.00. Rescheduling - If you need to reschedule your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental reservations, it must be done greater then 14 days before your arrival date and you will only be charged a $15.00 dollar transfer fee. Any changes that are made to your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental reservations will be a $15.00 dollar administrated fee. Security and Damage Deposit - When you make your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental reservations and you do not use a credit card, then on arrival you will have to put a cash security/damage deposit down. The amount will vary depending on which Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental Log cabin or Smoky Mountain chalet your reserve. After check out and your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental unit has been inspected and nothing found missing or damaged or extra cleaning needed, then your money will be returned to you within 14 days. Cleaning Fee - We do not charge a Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental cleaning fee unless we make an exception and rent a Smoky Mountain log cabin for only one night. In that case, the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental cleaning fee is based on the Smoky Mountain cabin and it's size. This fee is for sterilizing the hot tubs, Jacuzzi's, bathrooms, bed linens, floors and kitchens. Check-In and Late Arrivals - Our Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental check in begins at 3:00pm each day. If you would like to try to check in early to the Smoky Mountain Rental cabin, please call the day before you arrive to check if the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental unit will be ready. If your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental unit will be ready for early check in we will allow you to check in early. Checkout - Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental Checkout is a 11:00 AM; if you check out of your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental later than 11AM you will be charged $100.00 minimum for a late check out. No late checkouts are allowed unless you have permission from the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental office. If you lose your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental key, there will be a $10.00 dollar key fee. Cleanup for Checkout - When you are ready to leave please put all linens (sheets, pillowcases and dirty towels only) in the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental bathtub or shower and all the dishes you used are to be cleaned and put back up. Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental Housekeeping will do the rest. If you moved any furniture, then you must move it back where it was. If you disconnected the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental TV cables to play games, then you must re-connect the TV and cable cords. If you do not and we have to send out a TV repairman to the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental to hook the TV or cable back up, or work on the satellite to get the TV to work then you will be charged for the service call of $50.00. Garbage - Please place all garbage during your stay in the bags provided. Upon leaving your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental, please place the BAGGED garbage in the trash receptacle outside. Please be aware that there are wild animals in the area of the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental and that if the garbage is left outside of the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental receptacle, the animals (bear, raccoon, bobcats) will tear it open and leave it everywhere. Also, the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental garbage man will only pick up bagged trash. Please be mindful of this and only put BAGGED trash in the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental garbage receptacles. Linens - All of our Smoky Mountain Cabin Rentals are equipped with fresh linens for your stay. We do not have daily housekeeping for our Smoky Mountain Cabin Rentals and ask that should you need more linen during your stay that you wash them using the washer and dryer in the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental unit. For Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental units Without washer and dryers we will supply more linen to accommodate the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental guest. You may call us at 448-6842. Pets - Some of our Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental units are pet friendly and do require a $5.00 per day pet charge. All pets have to be 10 pounds or under. Guests staying in our Smoky Mountain Vacation Rental Cabins are responsible financially for any and all damages. All Smoky Mountain Rental Cabins and Pigeon Forge Chalets guests must have permission from the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental office for you to bring a pet. Hot Tubs/Pools/Saunas/Spas - When using hot tubs, pools, Saunas and Spas, please remember there is certain health risk that is associated with these facilities. It is the responsibility of the registered Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental guest to inform anyone using these facilities during the term on the stay of the potential hazards. The Smoky Mountain cabins and Smoky Mountain chalets homeowner association maintains all seasonal swimming pools. Our Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in all hot tubs prior to your arrival. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. DO NOT STAND OR SIT ON HOT TUB COVERS, they will break and you may be charged up to $300.00 for replacement. Remember when not using the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm. If you have any questions on how to operate the hot tub, please call during office hours for assistance. Insects – While all Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental units are sprayed monthly by a professional pest control company - wasps, ladybugs and other insects sometimes affect Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental units. We are in the Great Smoky Mountains and sometimes we have unwanted little guest that might decide to visit you and your family. Maintenance - When you arrive and find something is not working, please notify the office ASAP! We do everything to keep all Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental equipment in good working order. If something is not working properly, we will do our best to get it up and running for your stay. Upon your arrival we will give you an Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental after hour emergency number. If you call after hours to report something and it is a true emergency then you will be contacted back ASAP, if it is not a true emergency and it can wait to business hours, then you will not be called back till the following day. Fireplaces - Most of our Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental units have either gas burning fireplaces or wood burning. All fireplaces are useable from October to the first of April. No foreign materials are to be burned in the gas fireplaces of your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental. Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental Telephone Service and Internet - Most of our Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental units have normal telephone service, you must use a calling card or 1-800-COLLECT to make long distance calls. All local calls are free. In order to use Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental Internet service, your Internet provider must have local Knoxville area access numbers. Please check with your Internet provider prior to leaving home. Lost and Found - Smoky Cabins Smoky Mountain Cabin Rentals is not responsible for personal property left after your departure. If you find you have left something, please call the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental office and we will try to locate it for you and return it COD to you. Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental Television, Stereo and CD/DVD Players - All of our Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental units are privately owned and the homeowners chose the level of TV service, which may consist of (satellite, cable, or antenna). Premium channels are typically not available in most areas. If your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental log cabin has cable, then you will be able to get local channels, if your Smoky Mountain log cabin rental has satellite, then you will not be able to get local channels. Most of our Cabin Rentals in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park have satellite, because that is all that is available in the location of the cabin. Smoky Cabins is not responsible for TV reception or operation. Not all Smoky Mountain Cottage Rental and Log Cabin rental units have CD/DVD or stereos. Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental Refunds - No Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental refunds will be given due to inclement weather, malfunctions in equipment (i.e. hot tubs, saunas, Jacuzzis, television, stereos or VCR) IF a problem happens with the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental video or TV equipment then we will get it fixed ASAP! There will be NO refund for early departure for any reason. Weather - Weather changes fast in the Smoky Mountains. We recommend chains and/or four wheel drive vehicles during the winter months (November to April) No refund will be given due to weather conditions. Some roads are bad during snowy weather and Smoky Cabins reserves the right to move your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental reservation to a better location. All of the Smoky Mountain Cabin Rentals are privately owned vacation rental units; neither the owner nor Smoky Cabins is responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while the premises or its facilities. Nor is Smoky Cabins or the Private Homeowners responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises. We hope you enjoy your Smoky Mountain Cabin Rental stay with Smoky Cabins and work hard to ensure that everyone will be comfortable and have a great time!
