this authentic log cabin offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern luxury.
Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a home base for your Great Smoky Mountains adventures,
our cabin provides a serene sanctuary away from the crowds.
The Space
Our cabin is designed with an open, airy feel that highlights the beauty of traditional log construction.
- Living Area: Featuring soaring cathedral ceilings and exposed open beams, the living room is the heart of the home. Curl up in the recliner or on the sofa by the warm glow of the gas fireplace. A large flat-screen TV is ready for movie nights after a day of hiking.
- The Loft: Overlooking the living area, the open loft adds a sense of vertical space and features a full-size futon sleeper, making it a cozy nook for extra guests or a quiet afternoon read.
- Kitchen & Dining: The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up a gourmet meal. Gather the whole crew around the large farmhouse-style table for long conversations over breakfast or dinner.
Sleeping & Bathing
- Primary Bedroom: Features a plush King-size bed for ultimate relaxation.
- Second Bedroom: Features a comfortable Queen-size bed.
- Bathrooms: Two well-appointed bathrooms, both featuring spacious stand-up showers to help you refresh and recharge.
Outdoor Living
The magic of Walland is best experienced outside. Our property offers multiple ways to soak in the Tennessee mountain air:
- Relax: Sink into the large hot tub and let the bubbles melt your stress away.
- Dine: Enjoy "al fresco" meals in the dedicated outdoor dining area.
- Gather: End your nights at the bonfire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows under a star-filled sky.
- The Creek: Follow the sound of water to the running creek located right behind the cabin—the perfect spot for morning coffee or a peaceful moment of reflection.

Known as the "Peaceful Side of the Smokies," Walland offers a quiet, upscale mountain experience
just minutes away from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Townsend, and the scenic Foothills Parkway.
Traveling with a Larger Group?
Need more space? You can increase your guest capacity to 8 people by renting the "Treehouse by the Creek"
located right next door. It’s the perfect solution for multi-family trips or group retreats while maintaining a
sense of privacy.

Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check-ins or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day
NO PETS ALLOWED OF ANY KIND; IN THIS CABIN.
Check-In:
*3 pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin
Check-Out:
*10 am - Please follow our checkout guidelines.

Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins requires a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions, but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in most of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble; we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors.
Cancellation Policy:
*$50 cancellation fee
*Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50)
*Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, this is the amount that we will refund (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 night+tax+cleaning fee

My family had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The kids had never been to the mountains before, and it did not disappoint! We enjoyed seeing the sights and then having the nice relaxing cabin to come back to. The hot tub was fantastic, the creek provided endless exploration to the boys, and the property provided lots of adventuring.
