  We really loved this cabin! It fit our space needs, was a quiet neighborhood and had good amenities (washer/dryer, hot tub). We loved spending time on the back deck enjoying the best of nature.

  Such a beautiful location and the back porch was the very best part. Amazing bird watching and just relaxing after big days in the park. Hot tub was really nice too. Everything in the kitchen was great and communication was really clear and helpful. Thanks so much!

  We absolutely loved this cabin. The hot tub was very clean and easy to use. The kitchen had all the utensils and pans that you would need to cook. The king bed is also very comfy.

  The cabin was great. It was so clean and comfortable. We loved being able to have a fire and just sit and relax. The beds were very comfortable, and the showers were so big and roomy lots of hot water. This cabin had everything you needed to cook. We really enjoyed our stay. I even got to see the neighborhood bear while out on a walk. It was just sitting there watching me, then it just got up and walked across the road in front of me and went on its way. Had good communication with the owners. Thank you for renting us your perfect getaway cabin.

  This cabin is an amazing location - convenient for quick trips to town and to multiple beautiful spots - including the Foothills Parkway and Cade's Cove. The cabin is comfortable, clean, and well-furnished. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

  Another perfect stay at this wonderful cabin. Kitchen is excellently equipped. Beds are very comfortable. The secluded setting is perfect for relaxing.

  Long weekend to the Peaceful Side of the Smokies. My spouse and I made a quick trip to Townsend. The listing is accurate and the communication is excellent. We highly recommend and we will be booking with Smoky Cabins again.

  We have stayed in one of your cabins at least 3 or 4 times now. We have been super-satisfied every time! Our family's first choice of vacation destination is always Townsend, TN and you are the only cabin rental place we look at. Thank you for your amazing service & great properties!

  Loved the cabin. It was relatively clean.( Not so much under the couches.) But overall clean. It is private and quiet. A bear came very near to the hot tub!

  This was a perfect spot in the more natural part of the Smokies. We have been coming to the park since 1980 and this is our first stay in Townsend. It was perfect. Everything we needed was there. It was clean and in great working condition. We will stay here again!

  The cabin is in exceptional (as new) condition and extremely well furnished with excellent mountain themed furniture and accessories. It is tucked away just below the road and away from nearby cabins to provide a quiet coziness. Its open layout provides for easy conversations within. Its wood burning fireplace worked easily and was well stocked with dry firewood on the porch. Smoky Cabin Rental was superb to communicate with and very hospitable. Their advance communication and information app made our stay even better! They had the cabin immaculately clean upon our arrival. We look forward to staying there again soon!

  Great Expectations was a great cabin. Everything worked well including all appliances. Stocked well with everything you need. There is a steep driveways and we were driving a Ford 150 truck. Only rental we could get. Was difficult to turn around in narrow and steep driveway. With a SUV you can turnaround . There is a turnout parking above the cabin and we had a second car park up there.

  Great Expectations was a FANTASTIC cabin to stay in. The cabin had a great location and was super clean. It was welcoming, comfortable and well stocked. We especially enjoyed all of the outdoor areas and even had two different bear experiences, one single bear and the other was a mama bear and her three little cubs, while we were outside on the front porch and in the hot tub. I would highly recommend this cabin and would stay here again. Smoky Cabin Vacation Rentals also were great to book through and had frequent electronic communications and everything was super easy.

  The cabin was setup perfectly for our family of 3, we all had tons of space and privacy, laundry was a specific plus! The kitchen was stocked with more than we needed, hot tub and grill were great, the bathrooms were nice and updated. It was decorated so nicely, we kept saying how we wanted to come back to see it in the winter! Truly our favorite one yet!

  Cabin is in a great location and is in terrific condition-well kept, clean and updated with newer appliances. We were very comfortable and loved the hot tub. Will likely return.

  Amazing cabin! The views are amazing, and the trip to the cabin is definitely one of the most picturesque in the valley! Cabin was clean and cozy, and the management team thought of everything to make our stay perfect! Will definitely be back!

  Wonderful cabin. Wonderful experience. Every detail covered. Had a family of bears greet us on our first evening. They wondered through while we took some video. The leaves falling, squirrels barking, and birds chirping made the back porch the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee. We hope we spend more nights in this cabin.

  Great Expectations delivers!! Such a sweet little cabin tucked away over the side of the mountain. Sit on the back deck in the morning with your coffee and listen to the birds sing their song of daybreak. You can't help but smile and feel at peace. Watch as the squirrels play and then stare at you as they seem to scold you for invading their space. And they seem to really like a game of peek-a-boo as I caught them often peeking around the edge of the tree to see if I was still there. Inside the kitchen is very well equipped to cook your favorite meals. My husband liked the upstairs mattress better then the downstairs. We had a great relaxing week at this cabin and even got to play several games of dodge the walnuts as the trees decided to let them drop during our stay. It made for good times.

  The cabin was SO cute and comfy. We never did see any bears at the cabin. We were able to grill steaks and had the keurig for morning coffee. Everything else during our stay was awesome! Enjoyed the hot tub! We both have back issues & very picky with our mattresses, but found the bed to be pretty comfortable. Cabin was very clean. We never saw spiders, scorpions or anything - thank goodness!

  We loved the cabin! It was private and quite. The cabin was clean and neat and easy to find. We saw a momma bear and her 2 cubs right in front of the cabin where we park the car. Loved every minute of our stay.

  This cabin was exactly what we were looking for, we were heading to Kingsport to see my aunt in an assisted living facility and take every opportunity to stay in the Smokies. This cabin checked all the boxes from location to ease of access, beautifully decorated and CLEAN. I plan to save info and hope it remains as a rental for a future extended visit.

  We loved our time in the cabin. Felt very safe and secure in the community. The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy the space. Perfect trip for our family of 4...including a 5 year old and 3 year old. We were only sad we didn't see any bears.

  The cabin was clean and well appointed with everything we needed in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable. The entire booking, check in and check out process was smooth and easy. When I discovered there was no hair dryer in the cabin, the response was quick and one was dropped off the next day! We love staying in Laurel Valley for it’s easy access to hiking trails. We would definitely stay in this cabin again!

  The cabin was absolutely amazing, we truly enjoyed our stay. We hiked daily and it was so nice to come back at the end of the day to the cabin with all the comforts of home. The place was decorated for the season, there were little touches around the place that were just adorable. I highly recommend staying here when visiting the area.

  From booking to completing our stay, this cabin was nothing short of perfect. I had plenty of communication from the host through-out the booking process and leading up to our stay. The direction and acess information was very clear and eliminated any issues arriving. The cabin itself is exactly as the listing states. It is PERFECT. I was aprehensive going into it as it is part of a country club, but you would have no idea if you stayed without knowing there was a golf course about 1/2 mile away. The location of the cabin is very private and secluded. The kitchen was well stocked with everyday necessities (cooking utensils, cooking basics - salt, pepper, oil-, along with updated appliances. The view was spectacular and the hot tub got used every night! We only had two people in our party but the cabin could have easily slept 2 couples comfortably, and additional on couches. There was good wifi through the property along with smart TVs to allow us to connect streaming services for evening down time. The location in regards to Great Smoky Mountain National Park is perfect. Townsend is a beautiful, quaint, town and doesn't have the flashy tourism that some of the other area towns have. It's about a 10 minute drive to the entrance to the park with easy access to Cades Cove. We'll definitely be back!

  A wonderful cabin. So peaceful. Quiet. We a long car (Jeep Grand Cherokee L) and a 4 bike rack, it was a tough first trip up as I was not prepared. Had to back in the rest of the times in and out, but not a big issue. I’ll trade the seclusion we got for the driveway any day. What a quaint and beautiful place. We loved it. Clean. Comfortable.

  This cabin was so clean and so perfect in every way! I don’t like staying places because I have had bad experiences in the past with bugs and dirty places but my mind was quickly put to ease with the cleanliness and quality of the cabin. Check in and out was very easy and all the emails with instructions and reminders were perfect! No complaints other than the driveway but it can’t be controlled and it wasn’t too bad because we knew to expect it based off of previous reviews and the description of the cabin.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Great Expectations cabin. Very clean, private, and great location to the SMNP. The cabin itself had very comfortable bed and well-stocked kitchen. The hot tub and charcoal grill were an added bonus! The check-in and check-out process was smooth and detailed instructions were helpful. We would gladly return to Great Expectations.

  Loved our stay. Great cabin. Secluded, but close to everything we needed. Nice renovations. Peaceful porch, deck, and hot tub! Country club pool and bar a bonus. Super easy check in/out. Loved how quickly we could get to hiking trails. Enjoyed playing board games with the family.

  This was a beautiful cabin in the canopy of the trees. The cabin has been renovated and is very nice. In addition to the essentials, they have baskets of games and a hot tub nestled in the trees. We had a wonderful stay!

  Our stay at the Great Expectations Cabin was so wonderfully relaxing. The cabin is so beautifully decorated and we nicely equipped. The bed in the Master bedroom was extremely comfortable! We were so happy to have the opportunity to stay at Great Expectations.
