Welcome to Hushpuppy Hideaway, a peaceful mountain getaway tucked inside the gated Laurel Valley Community of Townsend, Tennessee — the Peaceful Side of the Smokies. This cozy yet spacious cabin is perfect for families, couples, and small groups looking to relax and reconnect with nature.

Inside, you’ll find a warm, open-concept living space with comfortable seating, a smart TV, and rustic charm throughout. The fully equipped kitchen features brand new appliances and everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals.

With 2 king bedrooms, 1 queen bedroom, and a sofa sleeper, everyone will have their own space to unwind. Enjoy entertainment with 3 smart TVs and plenty of gathering space inside and out.

Step onto one of the three outdoor decks to take in the mountain air, sip your morning coffee, or simply relax in the quiet of Laurel Valley.

Hushpuppy Hollow is pet-friendly, so your four-legged family members are welcome too!

FOR OUR PET FRIENDLY VISITORS:

PETS MUST BE APPROVED BY MANAGEMENT PRIOR TO CHECKING IN. We reserve the right to refuse any pet at any time. We would like for you and your family (including the four-legged members) to have the best vacation ever, and appreciate your willingness to abide by these guidelines.

*We only accept dogs; no cats allowed. We only accept 2 pets per reservation.
*We charge a $70.00 per stay per pet fee, which is not refundable.
*Your dog must be on a flea maintenance program. (Like Frontline, Advantage, etc.)
*Your dog must be crated while left in the cabin alone.
*Your dog must not get on our furniture. If we find pet hair on our furniture upon your departure, you will be charged $10.00 per each quilt/comforter/sofa that must be cleaned to remove dog hair.
*If your dog damages our vacation home in any way, ie, urine on the carpet/floor, chewed furniture/walls/doors or molding, you will be held responsible for the damage repair costs.
*Your dog must be leashed when outside of the cabin. This is for the safety of your dog, as there may be other animals in the area that could harm your beloved pet.

Hushpuppy Hideaway comes with FREE seasonal swim privileges at the Wild Laurel Country Club and year-round usage of the fitness center.

Check-In:
CONTACTLESS CHECK-IN
*3 pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin

Check-Out:
*10 am - Please follow our checkout guidelines.

*On During: October 1st - April 1st

Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins requires a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions, but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in most of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble; we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors.

Cancellation Policy:
*$50 cancellation fee
*Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50)
*Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, this is the amount that we will refund (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 night+tax+cleaning fee
