Nestled on the serene side of the Smokies, Laurel Log Lodge is a spacious, peaceful cabin-style retreat designed for up to 14 guests. Located in the tranquil Laurel Valley gated community, this genuine log cabin is just minutes from the northwest entrance of the Smoky Mountain National Park, Tuckaleechee Caverns, horseback riding, and river tubing. It offers the perfect blend of comfort and adventure for large family gatherings.
Arriving at Laurel Log Lodge
A long concrete driveway provides ample parking for up to 6 vehicles. Notably, there are no steep inclines or winding roads required to access this cabin. Relax on the charming porch rockers and enjoy the expansive front yard—a perfect spot to unwind in peace.
Main Floor: Gathering & Master Suite
Step into a 3-level interior featuring a rustic open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area.
- Well-Equipped Kitchen: Designed for culinary needs and includes a high chair for the little ones.
- Indoor-Outdoor Living: The all-seasons room provides a bright, airy space connected to nature. The adjoining deck features a gas grill and two separate seating areas for outdoor dining.
- Master Suite: This expansive room features a King-size bed, a large Smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub and walk-in shower.
- Golf Course Views: Both the upper deck and all-seasons room offer seasonal views of the 13th hole of the Wild Laurel Golf Course.
Upper Level: Guest Accommodations
Four additional spacious bedrooms are located upstairs, each with a flat-screen Smart TV:
- Bedrooms: Three rooms feature Queen beds, while the fourth is equipped with two Twin beds and a pack-and-play.
- Bathrooms: Two full bathrooms serve this floor, including a rustic bathroom featuring live edge countertops and a luxurious walk-in shower.
- Laundry: A full-size washer and dryer are conveniently located on this level.
Lower Level: Entertainment & Kids' Zone
The lower level is designed for fun and extra sleeping space:
- Activities: Enjoy shuffleboard, board games, and a flat-screen Smart TV.
- Amenities: This level includes a Queen-over-Queen bunk bed, a kitchenette, and a full bathroom.
- Outdoor Access: Step outside to an oversized playset for the kids, a hot tub for the adults, and plenty of lounge seating.

The outdoor area is built for memories, featuring a children's playhouse, portable bonfire pit, basketball goal, and corn hole boards.

- Holiday Schedule: Out of respect for the holidays and staff, we do not allow check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day.
- Restrictions: No pets and no motorcycles are allowed at this cabin.
- Occupancy: Absolutely no more than 14 guests are allowed.

Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins require a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in almost all of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble, we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt or approach any wildlife. This is their home and we are the visitors.

*Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50)
*Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, this is the amount that we will refund back (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 night+tax+cleaning fee

Fantastic space in a fantastic location. We are big fans of Townsend and the beauty and peacefulness it offers. The cabin was spacious enough for our family of 12 that gathered for Christmas. We had plenty of space for everyone to sleep as well as gather together in the living room and open kitchen area. The kitchen had everything…literally everything we needed. We lucked out with nice weather and enjoyed the porch and deck as well as the hot tub. The bathrooms were spacious with an abundance of towels and wash cloths and the washer and dryer came in handy as well. The staff at Smoky Cabins Rentals were great as well. I called and emailed with some questions and they were quick to respond. We are thinking of making this an annual tradition! -

Laurel Log Cabin was a great place to stay for our recent family vacay! We had a party of 13 - 5 of which were teens. Three level cabin - extremely clean! Bottom level has board games and queen bunks with a sofa bed and full bath. The teens loved this room. Master suite on main floor is beautiful and comfortable. Everybody enjoyed the hot tub and morning coffee in the glassed sunroom was so relaxing. We really loved our stay in this cabin. Definitely would rent again ! -

Our family reunion was a success! The accommodations were top-notch, clean, and provided space for lots of family love and laughter! The front porch rockers and swings were a big hit, as well as the mama bear with two cubs that visited daily. The playground attached to the house provided the four little ones with exercise and lots of muscle building! I truly can’t say enough about this cabin. It is the second time I have had the pleasure of staying here. You won’t be disappointed. Book it now! -

We enjoyed the cabin so much. It was perfectly clean and the kitchen well supplied. The info about coffee pots and other amenities before arriving was so helpful. We prefer not being in a neighborhood but the size and bed count made the lodge a good fit for our family. I loved the big bar and plenty of room in the kitchen for several people to help get meals on the table. Beds were comfortable and the windows had good privacy blinds. -
