Mossy Fern

Accommodations: 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath (Sleeps 4)
WOW!! Check out Mossy Fern!! This 2 bedroom/2 full bath cabin has just be redecorated with your vacation in mind. The open concept living area is spacious and cozy with a gas fireplace, sectional sofa and fully equipped kitchen. What a beautiful space!!
All on one level, Mossy Fern is great for two couples or a small family. One bedroom features a king bed, bathroom, dresser and closet and the other bedroom has a queen bed and full bathroom. Both have very comfortable mattress and linens.
Outside you will find a large deck with lots of privacy. Come outside and cook on the grill, eat at the table and soak in the extra large hot tub. The front deck has rockers and tables for enjoying that late night glass of wine or early morning cup of Java!
This cabin is located in Townsend TN just outside of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is about 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge and another 10-15 minutes from Gatlinburg. You will find lots to do like zip lining, horseback riding, sight seeing, river tubing and much much more just minutes from the cabin.
Mossy Fern comes with FREE seasonal swim privileges at the Wild Laurel Country Club and year round usage of the fitness center.
IMPORTANT: Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check in or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day
NO PETS ALLOWED OF ANY KIND, IN THIS CABIN.

Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins require a 4 wheel drive under normal weather conditions but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TV's and WiFi in most all of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble, we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt or approach any wildlife. This is their home and we are the visitors.
Cancellation Policy:
*$50 cancellation fee
*Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50)
*Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, this is the amount that we will refund back (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 night+tax+cleaning fee

Great cabin in Townsend. Equipped with everything needed for a relaxing vacation. We even saw bears across from the cabin during our stay. The sound machine in the master bedroom was a nice touch. We will definitely be staying with Smokey Cabins again. -

Clean, more modern/simplistic cabin feel that was homey, well stocked and everything we needed for a wonderful vacation! The Laurel Valley area is beautiful and feels like you are out in the woods but just a 5 minute drive into Townsend. At the cabin, we saw turkey, deer and a Mama bear with two cubs. Golf course/club house and pool area are so nice with amazing views, nice staff and good sandwiches at the club. We are already planning our next trip to come back to Mossy Fern! -

We had a delightful time staying at the Mossy Fern through the Smoky Cabins rental. We had what we needed. The beds/pillows were very comfortable! Everything was very clean!!! We highly recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle for "mountain climbing", including getting up and down the driveway. Something to note: one bathroom has a shower, and the second bathroom has a gigantic whirlpool tub but not a shower. This particular unit had a high-efficiency washer and dryer, which came in handy quite often. Notes about the kitchen: if you plan to cook your own meals, bring your own pantry items (spices, salt/pepper, tupperware, clingwrap, aluminum foil, ziploc bags, coffee & filters, and filtered drinking water (if you're picky like we are)). Otherwise, the kitchen is stocked well with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and items of that nature. We were very grateful they offered a nice blender so we could make our morning smoothies! The outdoor grill was a plus, which had propane tanks provided. Overall, the cabin was wonderful! The view was amazing, the hot tub was a nice addition, very comfortable, very clean, and we would definitely return to this area and use the Smoky Cabin rental again! -

Lovely little cabin in Townsend. Very nicely decorated . Is very quiet and near so many of the Smokies attractions. Highly recommend when coming to the Smokey Mountians. -

We rented as a gift for our 26 year anniversary! I was more excited to get away from life for a few days with my best friend. The amenities were great! Cabin was beautiful, and super clean. We had some minor issues but made the best of it. Thank you for allowing us to stay! -

Great little cabin for two couples. Comfortable, we rode motorcycles most of the time, but wanted a quiet place to relax in evenings and mornings. Even had a bear come right up to the porch one morning while drinking coffee. -
