Road Conditions: Please be aware that Pipers Place is located up a steep road.
- A 4-wheel drive vehicle may be required at all times of the year due to wet roads.
- The cabin may be inaccessible by non-4WD vehicles during icy, snowy, or exceptionally wet conditions.

Cleanliness is our top priority, and we take pride in providing a wonderful cabin at a great price. Your stay includes:
- Fresh sheets and towels.
- A starter supply of soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, and trash bags.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check-ins or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day
NO PETS ALLOWED OF ANY KIND; IN THIS CABIN.
Check-In:
*3 pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin
Check-Out:
*10 am - Please follow our checkout guidelines.

*On During: October 1st - April 1st
Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins requires a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions, but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in most of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble; we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors.
Cancellation Policy:
*$50 cancellation fee
*Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50)
*Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, this is the amount that we will refund (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 night+tax+cleaning fee

Cabin was very nice and enjoyable - perfect space for two, quiet, and close to the western portion of Great Smoky Mountains National Park - easy access, very little traffic to get into and out of the park from Townsend. Hot tub, gas fireplace, large porch with view and propane fire pit made for a relaxing time.

There are treacherous roads within the cabin resort. We had difficulty in a 4 wheel drive truck. The site says that the roads are passable but we did not venture out unless the roads were dry. This cabin would not be a good idea if you are not physically fit or used to steep inclines.
Overall the cabin was nice. Very secluded and adorable. Their maintenance man and woman were amazing!!

This was our second trip to Pipers Place, and we had another amazing experience! The cabin is the most perfect quiet getaway in Townsend. My husband and I love the quick access to great hiking trails, beautiful Cades Cove, and great restaurants. The cabin had everything we needed and was extremely clean and comfortable.
