  Words can’t describe the shady maples lodge, House was amazing everything you need, it was well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. The views from this place were amazing from sunrise to sunset we hated to leave. This place was just outside the tourist area and crowds but easy to get to within 30 minutes. The wildlife is amazing we had bears visit us on multiple occasions throughout the week. The host was absolutely amazing we had plenty of communication prior to our trip and as we prepared for departure! I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our trip! I would highly recommend house will look forward to returning soon.

  Always a five star stay! Beautiful cabin. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. Beautiful view from porch/windows. The best management company. Cabins are always clean and any issues are always handled immediately. See you next year!

  Once again a fabulous long weekend at Shady maples lodge. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Amenities are great and the views are just amazing. 5 stars for this vacation cabin

  A lovely cabin with a fantastic mountain view. Also saw a number of bears and cubs at the cabin while staying there. The elevator was also a huge help with unloading and repacking the car.

  We had a terrific time at Shady Maples Lodge. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed, including the kitchen which provided everything we needed to cook full meals. We especially appreciated the beautiful outdoor areas and spent most of our time at the fire pit or on the from deck enjoying conversation and the mind-blowing view. The neighborhood was super nice and we saw an abundance of wild animals.

  Cabins are always well stocked and super clean! Management is amazing. Takes care of any needs immediately. Would not stay anywhere else.

  The cabin is fantastic and has great views with all the amenities. The owners are very responsive and easily available. We had some weather issues due to the bomb cyclone / storm of the century. Keith and Cathy were very helpful! Would recommend the cabin and would book again.

  This cabin is amazing. The views the amenities the size of the cabin for a big family. Everything about this cabin for a big family is great. The kitchen is well stocked and plenty of beds for everyone.

  Our stay was great! Lodge was very clean, and was supplied with all the things we needed for a 4 day stay. Beautiful view of the mountains and sunrise from the front porch as we drank our coffee.

  Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shady Maples Lodge! Loved the view, secluded property, and that we were visited by bears several times! Appreciated having plenty of towels and kitchen supplies so that we could cook our meals and eat on the deck. Also loved the fire pit and hot tub almost every evening!

  What a wonderful, peaceful, beautiful place to stay! The view from the front porch is incredible and the only sounds heard are the sounds of nature. The bunk beds and hot tub were a big hit with the kids. Everything was well stocked and it was obvious that the owners thought through what was needed to make staying there feel like home away from home. We definitely plan to come back!

  One of the best experience ever in renting a cabin. It was very professional and friendly service from the very beginning to the end. Cathy was so helpful and accommodating in all aspects of our renting this cabin. The best service I’ve ever had in renting. The cabin itself is phenomenal from the view to the accommodations of the cabin. So many little things that was put into the thought of guest. The elevator for getting stuff up which we didn’t use do to oversight on my part to the hooks for towels at the hot tub, the fire pit and the front deck. We will definitely being staying at Shady Maples Lodge again. If I had a complaint and this is coming from a huge Tennessee football fan and sports family, the tv package does not have ESPN or ESPN 2 which televised our bowl game as well as others so I would suggest getting that added. We had to watch it thru the computer so that was very disappointing but that was the only draw back we had. Duan and family

  This house has a fabulous view and living room seating for eight. The three large beds were fantastic, and the three bathrooms helpful for our group of adults. We really wanted to give this house a five out of five, but the dishwasher was out of order when we arrived. It was replaced within two days, but that was two days of washing lots of dishes while on vacation.

  Management Response: It actually took a day and a half to get the brand new dishwasher which is pretty quick in these days of covid and lack of stock at local stores. We had to drive about an hour to pick up one. It would have taken over a week to have it repaired but we went ahead and purchased a new one, even though it probably didn't need to be replaced, so that there would be a working dishwasher for this guest. So happy that you guys enjoyed this lovely home!!

  We arrived early and they let us check in What a beautiful cabin. It was perfect for our families. We enjoyed it so much that we plan on coming back. The view is spectacular and it’s so peaceful. Not to mention our bear visitors!

  Great view. Well stocked cabin. Pool access was nice. Would recommend to others. Living space and kitchen are small but the front porch was fantastic. Great customer service when we called about an issue.

  Cabin and the views were amazing. Made me want to move to the smoky mountains. Plenty of room/ nice outdoor spaces/well laid out and supplied. Bonus- saw 3 bears!!!

  What can I say! This cabin is beyond amazing! The view is absolutely breath taking! The morning sunrise welcomes you to another beautiful day in the cabin reminding you just how blessed you are to be there and see it! I really would like to say it is horrible don't rent it because I want it to be available for me when I want it lol! You definatly get your money worth in the cabin! From comfy beds to a well equipped kitchen, nice grill , amazing hot tub, and that jacuzzi tub on sore knees is amazing!

  This is a wonderful cabin with a fantastic view. Nice fire pit area and great new front porch. This is a great location if you want to be away from crowds and have easy access to national park and Cades Cove. Management was great to work with. We will absolutely return!! Book this cabin and you will love it!

  It was a great place for my extended family to stay for my niece's wedding. Beautiful views, great amenities, and so many wonderful memories. The beds were so very comfortable, the kitchen was perfect, and the porch, fire pit, and hot tub gave us plenty to do. We even had a bear visitor that my nephews named Garfield.
