Beautiful. Clean. Private. Had everything we needed. Only gave 4 stars because mattresses were softer than what we are used to. -

We loved the cabin. Was perfect for us. Will keep this cabin in mind when we want to come up again. I did fall and broke my ankle on hike, but we will come again. We love the area. -

Definatley one of my favorite cabins I have stayed in. This cozy little cabin sits back off the road and is just so peaceful. Sitting on the front deck listening to the church bells chime through the valley just brings a sense of peace. I would have given the cabin 5 stars but a faulty range left us with out a stove top or oven for the week we were there. We had meals planned that required an oven. A few days it was raining and the wind was blowing the rain onto the back deck making it hard to grill leaving us eatting out which we had not really budgeted for. When we let management know they were out there quickly to look at it but they ended up having to call an appliance repair man which took a few days for them to be able to come out and in The end was unable to fix it. A new range had not been delivered by the time we had to leave?. I would highly recommend this cabin to anybody even with the Oops we encountered. -

First time in Tennessee and I'm very glad we chose this cabin in the lovely city of Townsend. It was a nice satellite location within a reasonable driving distance to the other sights we wanted to see. Overall the cabin was nicely furnished and comfortable, had plenty of amenities, and was peaceful and secluded. -
Julie Montgomery - 8/21/2021

Christine Westendorf - 7/18/2021
Overall very nice cabin. Loved all the wood, the fire ring area, and that is was fairly close to Townsend/the park, but still quiet. The front porch swing was everyone's favorite spot. -

Exceptional. That describes the cabin and the experience. Quiet natural surroundings. Church chimes in the distance. Whippoorwill at night. And one night we had a visit from a bear. This was the second stay at this cabin. -
James Ramsey - 5/16/2021
Beautiful mountain cabin and property that lived up to its name “Hideaway”. A peaceful relaxing experience that left us wishing we had longer to stay. We will definitely be back. -

Absolutely Perfect! This cabin was beautiful, very clean, and spacious. Perfect for my family of 4. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes/pans/utensils and the bathrooms with towels/washcloths/soap. (Although we brought our own bath towels) The cabin is across the street from a horse stable, but it is tucked away up a hill with a lot of trees/landscaping/woods around it, so it feels like you are in your own little oasis! We didn’t hear much of the road traffic at all. The front porch swing was my favorite! Lots of yard space for the kids to run around. Townsend is close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Maryville and it was easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay at this cabin again. It was perfect! -
Kyle Kloes - 2/21/2021
Most wonderful cabin. It was like staying in a Thomas Kinkade painting!! The staff was so kind and helped me with questions on local fire wood ? to purchase!! -
Kelly Myers - 2/18/2021
This is our second time renting this amazing cabin. It is secluded and quiet. Love the space and the front porch. I think this is our favorite one yet!! We’ve rented several times from this company and always had a great experience. Was hoping to rent this beauty two more times this year but it’s already taken! That’s how much we enjoyed our stat in this cabin! -
DAVID MONTGOMERY - 2/10/2021
We were so happy to get away to this beautiful cabin near the Smoky mountains! We have been coming to townsend for 20 years. This is truly one of the nicest, most comfortable cabins we've ever stayed in. It was spotless. And that is greatly appreciated. The furnishings were nice and perfect for a cabin. The privacy was just what we all needed! We were so happy to wake up to snow one morning. I've never been to Tennessee when it snowed. So that completed everything. -
Kaye Nail - 12/9/2020
Peaceful cabin, in an excellent location. Cabin has a warm, cozy feel to it. Everything needed to have a great vacation. Some of the extras provided were firewood, clean towels and linens, decently appointed kitchen and decorations for Christmas! This is out of the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Yet the cabin is close enough you can ride over for for the day to those areas if you choose to do so. So many hikes and things to do within a few minutes of this area. The cabin is a great value for the comfort price and amenities. We will be back. -
Justin Boyd - 12/8/2020
We loved this beautiful and relaxing cabin! So much space inside and outside. It snowed on our visit and it was just breathtaking! They have everything you need from kitchen stuff to a grill. The fireplace was great and the fire pit was an added bonus. -
Janet Kirkland - 11/16/2020
The most beautiful, magical place in the Smokey's. It has all the charm you'd hope to find. The personal decor and taste gives it a warm, comfortable, peaceful feeling. -
Keith Timmons - 11/9/2020
Perfect stay! Quiet. You can sit on the porch and hear church chimes in the valley. Lots of variety of birds to view. Slept like a log. This cabin is especially well equipped. I hope we return many more times. -
Kelly Myers - 10/19/2020
We have rented several times thru Smoky Cabin’s. This is our favorite cabin by far! Clean, spacious, beautiful setting with an amazing front porch and fire pit. Conveniently located but yet out of sight with privacy and away from other cabins. Only issue was we didn’t want to leave! We loved it so much we booked another trip here before we left! -
Michael Napoli - 10/7/2020
The perfect place to relax. Beautiful landscaping out front with a great fire pit. Awesome front porch and felt very private. Rustic decor with modern convenience. Would definitely stay again. -
Herschel Barbee - 9/30/2020
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It seems secluded and private, but is close to the activities and attractions in Townsend. We enjoyed the decor and amenities of the cabin both inside and outside . The kitchen was well equipped for a weekend stay. The furniture had a rustic, comfortable, and sturdy feeling. The flowers and landscaping were beautiful. The front porch is comfortable and relaxing. The fire pit was the perfect place to enjoy s’mores! Smoky’s Hideaway was a great place to stay while visiting the Great Smoky Mountains.
