Get ready to breathe deeper, laugh louder, and unwind fully at Stairway to Heaven, a spacious 4-level mountain retreat tucked away in the peaceful Laurel Valley community of Townsend, Tennessee. Surrounded by nature and offering unforgettable panoramic views, this 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath cabin is the kind of place where memories are made — whether you're reconnecting with family, exploring the Smokies, or simply enjoying the quiet rhythm of mountain life.

From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with warm wood interiors, soaring open-beam ceilings, and a stunning wall of windows that frame the ever-changing mountain landscape. The main living area invites you to settle in with a cozy sectional sofa, a flickering gas fireplace, and a 55” flat-screen TV — perfect for movie nights after long days of adventure. Just beyond the sliding glass doors, the spacious deck offers a front-row seat to breathtaking sunsets and misty morning views that feel like your own slice of heaven.

Cooking becomes part of the experience in the gourmet kitchen, where you can prepare meals with everything you need at your fingertips — all while enjoying views from three large windows. Gather around the dining table, where up to eight guests can share stories, meals, and laughs together. Even the littlest travelers are thought of, with a high chair included.

As you explore the home, each level offers its own special space to unwind and enjoy:

🌄 Downstairs, two luxurious master suites each feature plush king beds, private bathrooms, and sweeping mountain views that greet you with the sunrise. One suite also includes a large flat-screen TV.

🛌 A level below, you’ll find the ultimate family hangout — a third bedroom with two queen beds, a spacious living area with bunk beds (full on bottom, twin on top), and a comfy futon for extra guests. This level includes a full bath and a variety of games and another TV, giving kids (and kids at heart) a place to spread out and have fun.

🎮 Descend one more level to discover the game room — a cool hideaway with a foosball table and dart board, perfect for late-night fun or rainy-day entertainment.

And no matter where you are in the cabin, each level offers its own deck with picture-perfect mountain views — ideal for morning coffee, evening wine, or stargazing under the vast Smoky Mountain sky.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check-ins or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day

NO PETS ALLOWED OF ANY KIND; IN THIS CABIN.

Check-In:

*3 pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin

Check-Out:

*10 am - Please follow our checkout guidelines.

*On During: October 1st - April 1st

Common Concerns:

*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins requires a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions, but some do in inclement weather.

*TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in most of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.

*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble; we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors.

Cancellation Policy:

*$50 cancellation fee

*Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50)

*Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, this is the amount that we will refund (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 night+tax+cleaning fee
