Location: Townsend TN
Accommodations: 3 Bedroom, 3 Bath (Sleeps 10)
SWEET RETREAT is located in the prestigious Laurel Valley Community in beautiful Townsend, TN on a very quiet road. There is room for up to 4 vehicles to park in the two driveways which would even accommodate motorcycles. This cabin has a membership at the Wild Laurel Country Club which entitles our guests to use the fitness center year round and the swimming pool during the summer months from Labor Day to Memorial Day.
As you enter the cabin through the great room, the ceilings will tower over you! Beautiful beams adorn the upper spaces as well as a gorgeous floor to ceiling stone wood burning fireplace. The living room features a full size reclining sofa, a reclining loveseat and two comfy arm chairs for TV watching, enjoying the fireplace or just sitting around enjoying each others company. The fully equipped kitchen is located on the main floor as well. The large middle island offers a ton of counter top space for spreading out and cooking wonderful tasty meals for your family with ease. The dining room provides enough seating for 8 guests to eat together.
On the main floor, you will find the master suite with a king size bed and lots of space. There is an ensuite bathroom with a large standup shower and bathtub. The master suite also has it's own private entrance to the screened in patio. Both of the other private bedrooms are located on the lower level. One bedroom has another king size bed, dresser & closet. The other bedroom has a queen/twin bunk bed and dresser. There is a full bathroom with a large shower in between these bedrooms.
The upper loft is large and wide open to the great room below. It has a sofa sleeper and chair for relaxing & hanging out together. It also has a table for four to play board games & card games. The air hockey table will provide hours of family entertainment as well. The 3rd full bathroom with stand up shower is located here. There is also a twin roll away bed in storage up here for the 10th guest to sleep.
SWEET RETREATs outdoor space is lovely as well. The screened in patio is spacious and offers lots of seating for guests to relax and have an early morning coffee listening to nature wake up or a late night glass of wine just in time to unwind. You will also find a small table for having a cup of coffee, two rockers & a hot tub.
RENTING THIS CABIN INCLUDES THE PRIVILEGE OF USING THE SEASONAL SWIMMING POOL AND YEAR ROUND FITNESS CENTER AT THE COUNTRY CLUB, WILD LAUREL.
IMPORTANT: Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check in or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day
NO PETS ALLOWED OF ANY KIND, IN THIS CABIN. If it is found that a pet is brought in to this cabin, there is a $1000 clean up fee.

*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins require a 4 wheel drive under normal weather conditions but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TV's and WiFi in most all of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble, we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt or approach any wildlife. This is their home and we are the visitors.
Cancellation Policy:
*$50 cancellation fee
*Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50)
*Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, this is the amount that we will refund back (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 night+tax+cleaning fee

Sweet Retreat was amazing. The cabin, was beautiful and no detail was left out when it came to making sure we were comfortable with our stay. The kids loved playing in the hot tub, while we played cornhole, as well as we really enjoyed playing Jenga all together. This cabin well exceeded our expectations. We will always book with Smoky Cabins. Thank you for a great stay!! (When we arrived we noticed a puppy figurine on the stomp by the driveway, our family added a bunny for fun!) -

We had a wonderful stay at 'Sweet Retreat' The cabin in spacious, but still feels homey and very comfortable. Sitting on the porch in the treetops is so relaxing! The area is peaceful and quiet. My family enjoyed the hot tub and an evening fire around the fire ring provided. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils, cooking pots and pans as well as dishes and cutlery for eating meals. I will definitely consider coming back to this cabin again. -

Love it- so cozy and clean!! We really appreciated the location and amenities of the cabin. We used the grill, hot tub, and enjoyed lounging on the back and front porch. Also loved that there were plenty of towels to use and comfy blankets around. -

The Sweet Retreat Cabin was perfect for our Smokey Mountain adventure. The cabin was beautiful and even nicer than pictured. It was very comfortable and clean. I would highly recommend staying here. -

Absolutely loved Sweet Retreat for our family vacation. The cabin was open, airy and spacious for our whole crew. The kitchen was well stocked for all our breakfast cooking as we were not early risers (hence vacation!). Loved the decor and felt right at home for our week. Located in a nice, quiet neighborhood but still able to see deer and Turkey. The hot tub was a bonus after a day of sightseeing, shopping, bike riding in Townsend and/or hiking in the GSMNP. We will be back! -

Review left on Airbnb: The house was great! Everything was realistic to the pictures provided. Location is great and the town is super close with plenty of restaurants wineries and local businesses to check out. This house is also within an hour of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the national park. The house was great! Everything was realistic to the pictures and spotless. Check-in and out process was super easy and clear. Will definitely stay again! -

This house was perfect for us! 4 adults and 3 kids! Sleeping situation was perfect. Mattress was comfy! Space was really nice. Kids enjoyed the air hockey, even though sometimes the “air” worked, sometimes it didn’t. TV’s were very nice! Loved that we could use the pool! Conscientious to the Smoky’s! Love the Peaceful side! -

We all loved this cabin! It was absolutely perfect! Had everything we could possibly need plus more! It is very clean. Beds & pillows are so comfy. Kitchen had all the essentials. The scenery was breathtaking. Loved the country club & pool. If you could have seen the guys' faces when they seen the golf course. They were blown away. -

Oh my goodness!!!! Where do I begin? This cabin is absolutely beautiful. All the furniture is new and super comfy. It has a reclining love seat and sofa great for taking naps. Comfortable beds and decorated beautifully. The kitchen is well stock with everything you could possibly need. It has a screened in porch great for morning coffee while listening to the birds sing and watch the squirrels play. My grand daughters loved the air hockey table and the board games (especially monopoly). Very private with lots of trees. Just a few minutes from Townsend and Cades Cove. This one is a return cabin for sure! -
