**Whispering Pines - A Nature Lover’s Paradise**

Discover the charm of Whispering Pines, a delightful log cabin nestled in beautiful Townsend, TN. Built in 1999, this authentic cabin has been thoughtfully updated with new, modern appliances and amenities. Redesigned in August 2024, it now features fresh furniture, bedding, and a host of upgrades tailored to enhance your stay.

Located within the serene Timberwinds Resort, Whispering Pines is easily accessible via winding, wooded yet concrete roads, making it a safe and convenient retreat for motorcyclists and all vehicles. There are no steep inclines to navigate, and the cabin offers parking for two vehicles, comfortably accommodating up to 5 guests.

Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by a spacious deck at the back of the cabin, offering a picturesque view of a hollow adorned with wildflowers. Occasionally, a bear might make an appearance, adding to the cabin's rustic allure. The deck features an outdoor dining area and a screened, covered porch with a large hot tub. For outdoor meals, a charcoal BBQ grill is also provided.

The cabin’s open-concept floor plan boasts a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and all the necessary pots and pans. The living room invites relaxation with a comfy sofa, two easy chairs, a flat-screen TV, and a gas fireplace. The downstairs master bedroom features a grand 4-poster log king-sized bed, a dresser, and an ensuite full bathroom. Please note, that the master bedroom is open to the living area.

Upstairs, the loft area is a perfect retreat for teenagers and pre-teens, featuring a full-size bed, a twin-size bed, bean bag chairs, mood lighting, board games, a retro game system, and a PlayStation. There is also a second full bathroom with a walk-in shower located on the first floor. (Please be aware that the stairs to the loft are quite narrow.)

NO PETS ALLOWED OF ANY KIND; IN THIS CABIN.

Check-In:

*3 pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin

Check-Out:

*10 am - Please follow our checkout guidelines.

*On During: October 1st - April 1st

Common Concerns:

*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins requires a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions, but some do in inclement weather.

*TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in most of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.

*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble; we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors.

Cancellation Policy:

*$50 cancellation fee

*Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50)

*Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, this is the amount that we will refund (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 night+tax+cleaning fee
