Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check-ins or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day

*3 pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin

*10 am - Please follow our checkout guidelines.

Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins requires a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions, but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in most of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble; we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors.

*$50 cancellation fee
*Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50)
*Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, this is the amount that we will refund (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 night+tax+cleaning fee

What a view! Of all the cabins we have stayed in, this cabin's view was spectacular! The cabin is well appointed with everything a family needs for a weekend trip or week long vacation. We cooked all of our meals at the cabin, and the cookware and appliances were in good shape. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub (it looked brand new!) and wood-burning fireplace every night. The upstairs bed was comfy and private; we slept upstairs to enjoy the rain on the tin roof. I'm sure the downstairs bed is just as comfortable. Yes, this cabin is at the top of a mountain. However, the roads are paved and in good condition. No one would have a problem assessing the cabin unless you were new to driving a manual transmission. The furniture is in pretty good shape--the coach sat a little lower than we like. That's a minor issue, coming from someone older with a hip issue. :)

As a whole, we highly enjoyed our stay at Heavenly View. The views are astounding. The drive is steep, so if you’re afraid of heights or don’t like driving straight up, this cabin may not be for you. We had a 2WD truck, and it would not allow for you to reverse up the hill to the cabin, so we had to reverse down the hill each time we left (which was fine). Only some slight disadvantages for us. If you have anyone in your family that is 6’0 or taller, these bathrooms will not work out well for you. My husband had to lean down walking in & out to not strike his head on the slants. Also, the shower in the upstairs is very small, too small for me being only 5’3, but most definitely too small for my husband being a bigger guy. Kitchen is small, but we had everything we needed. We stayed 9 days, so you can imagine the amount of stuff we had. I did have to call management a few times for the nest thermostat, it was locked so they had to adjust for us. I hated to be a bother, but it just wasn’t working for us. But overall, beautiful stay, we highly enjoyed ourselves & will definitely be using Smoky Cabins again.

The cabin was so nice. The view was beautiful. The pool and clubhouse were so nice. The Smoky Cabin customer service was excellent. We will definitely be a return customer. Our vacation was great. I really hated to leave but I had to return to reality.
