Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check-ins or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day
NO PETS ALLOWED OF ANY KIND; IN THIS CABIN.
Check-In:
*3 pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin
Check-Out:
*10 am - Please follow our checkout guidelines.
Fireplaces:
*On During: October 1st - April 1st
Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins requires a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions, but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in most of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble; we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors.
Cancellation Policy:
*$50 cancellation fee
*Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50)
*Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, this is the amount that we will refund (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 night+tax+cleaning fee

Wow! Knotty Pine is so cozy and a great place for my wife and I to spend a special weekend together. During our stay, we enjoyed several restaurants, we The Local Goat was by far the best! We also loved the Titanic Museum and Hillbilly Golf. While enjoying the hot tub on the back porch on eight, we spotted a young cub. We spotted over 30 ears throughout our adventures in the area. We were so pleased with this cabin's amenities and were not lacking anything we needed. Also, it is equidistant from both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, making it's location convenient but also very peaceful. Thank you for providing such a beautiful place to make lasting memories.

Knotty Pine was the perfect place to spend our honeymoon! We loved the location, being close enough to the park for a quick swim at the Wye but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. We spend our time hiking Spruce Falls, Abram Falls, and Laurel Falls and made our way to Clingman's Dome. We saw 6 bears on our day at Cades Cove! The highlight of our bear sightings was a bear encounter at Abram Falls. We had just arrived at the Falls when a bear strolled out of the woods 10' in front of us!
If you are looking for a romantic night out, we would highly recommend The Dancing Bear Bistro! The meal was amazing and the staff was excellent. - The duck was to die for. -
We had an amazing time at Knotty Pine and have fallen in love with Townsend. We will be back!!
