Lisa Johnson (Humboldt, TN)
The cabin was comfortable and well decorated. The view was gorgeous and the back deck was comfortable as well. We had a wedding rehearsal dinner on the back patio and it was breathtaking. My whole family loved the lodge. The location was convenient to Townsend yet seemed remote.
Ken Kerber (Metairie, LA)
Everything was great as usual. The new rocking chairs outside were used extensively - we form a big circle each night and just talk.
Lori Kendrick (McCrory, AR)
The cabin met and exceeded our expectations!
Robert Courter (Raleigh, NC)
Fantastic deal for lovely accommodations with great views. We rent 4 cabins each year for a large group; this was our 13th year.
Patricia Baker (Woodstock, GA)
The patio area in the back of the cabin, including the covered barbecue area , was perfect for our son’s Wedding rehearsal dinner and party. We hung lights in the barbecue area, the ones there were there not working, except for one strand. Fire pit was awesome.
The AC unit upstairs wasn’t working, and we could not sleep up there on the first night. We were really worried about that, but it was repaired right before our guests arrived for rehearsal, the rest of our cabin guests that night.
All in all the cabin worked well for us
Amanda Gibson (Lexington, TN)
We very much enjoyed staying at the lodge. We will defiantly be staying there again.
Sue Wright (Chipley, FL)
Beautiful home in a quiet area. Although, we didnt get to use it, because of all the rain, we loved the back area with the outdoor fire place.
Mary Elliott (Springfield, IL)
Cabin was lovely and clean. Wonderful for larger groups/families, as long as they’re aware that the described walk through rooms mean that you do actually have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other. The downstairs pair you can get into the back bedroom also via the sliding glass door on back porch, but the upstairs back room you have to go through one or the other bedroom.
Alex Way (Charlottesville, VA)
We really loved the cabin and it was perfect for our big family!
Shandi Thompson (Louisville, KY)
We arrived to an impeccably clean cabin, beautiful and ready for guests. We housed 8 ppl full time on this cabin and it served as headquarters for our small wedding on the back deck. Even with all this activity, the cabin was spacious and accommodations and we ne we felt like we were on top of each other. I would also be remiss if I didn’t mention Cathy and Keith, Smoky Cabins’ managers! Not only were they kind and patient and accommodating as we worked toward holding our wedding at the cabin, they came through with flying colors when a family emergency made it impossible for one of my bridesmaids attend. She had to ship some items to me last minute, and Cathy made sure we had good mailing info for the overnight and an easy pick up location. Thank you Smoky Cabins! We’ll definitely be coming back!
