The heart of the home is the recently remodeled, fully equipped kitchen. Whether you’re brewing your morning coffee or preparing a full family feast, you’ll find brand-new finishes and all the appliances you need to feel right at home.
Step into the large, comfy living room, where oversized windows and sliding glass doors frame the beautiful scenery outside. On chilly mountain evenings, you can curl up by the seasonal gas fireplace and watch the shadows dance across the trees.
Restful Retreats
- Master Suite: Features a luxurious King-size bed, a flat-screen TV, ample storage in the dresser and closet, and the added privacy of an ensuite half-bathroom.
- Second Bedroom: Perfect for families, this room offers a Queen-size bed and a Twin bed, plus its own flat-screen TV and plenty of closet space.

- Holiday Schedule: Out of respect for our staff, we do not allow check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day.
- No Pets: Absolutely no pets of any kind are allowed at Owl’s Roost.

NO PETS ALLOWED OF ANY KIND; IN THIS CABIN.
Check-In:
*3 pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin
Check-Out:
*10 am - Please follow our checkout guidelines.

*On During: October 1st - April 1st
Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins requires a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions, but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in most of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble; we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors.
Cancellation Policy:
*$50 cancellation fee
*Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50)
*Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, this is the amount that we will refund (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 night+tax+cleaning fee

We really enjoyed the screened in porch, fire pit was amazing. Enjoyed the swing on the porch and the rockers. Loved the peace and quiet at this cabin. Beds were comfortable and my daughter loved the option of both drip coffee and KCup.

Enchanting, whimsical, comfortable, home, cozy, sweet, private, quiet. Just a few of the words you could use to describe this little cottage. The outdoor area is nothing short of amazing! If you are looking for all the fancy stuff for your vacation such as arecade games, pool table, jacuzzi tub, wet bar etc for you vacation you won't find it here. If you want peace and tranquility this is your spot! We had a bear pay us a visit our first night/early morning but unfortunately we didnt get to see it so it left it's calling card......it tipped the grill over 🤦🏼♀️. This was are second time staying at owls roost and we will definitely be back.

Another wonderful trip to the Smoky Mountains.
We absolutely loved the cabin and all the updates. Super clean and everything you could possibly need.
The kitchen is stocked with all kinds of items and box fans in both bedrooms.
We had a bear come visit us on two separate occasions.
We also love the fact that it’s on a dead end road so you have more privacy.

This was a perfect vacation, the remodeling looks great. The cabin is clean, comfortable, and cozy.
We spent time in Cades Cove, it was the first time for us to see the cubs.
We saw a big bear from the kitchen window about 4pm one afternoon.
We are planning to come back this fall.
