  We loved staying in the Treehouse at Townsend, TN. The location was perfect. Close to restaurants and grocery, but far enough away that there were no crowds or traffic. Getting to the GSMP entrance was easy. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. Having a washer and dryer was an added plus, since we had dirty clothes to wash from hiking. No complaints and we will certainly choose this house again when we come back.

  Wonderful cabin just as the pictures show. Clean and had plenty of supplies. Kitchen was fully furnished. Big bedrooms with TVs. One TV in the upstairs bedroom did not work unless you subscribed to or had an account with a network. River is a little hard to get into from the bank but doable. We had a good time and will book again. The hosts were very helpful in booking and when we needed to contact them.

  This cabin was in a great location to the wedding venue and it was so clean and just perfect for our situation. We loved the river view from the back and it had plenty of space in the cabin and outside for everyone especially our granddaughters to play and run around. Thank you for making the weekend so enjoyable with having everything we needed at the cabin. I also appreciate you allowing my husband and I to get in early since we were bringing all the food, drinks and stuff for our children and their families since we all were traveling from different places.   We had a great experience at the Treehouse! Family was in Townsend for a wedding, 5 adults, and the cabin was perfect for our keep. Check in was super easy; Smoky Cabins Rentals was great at communicating everything we needed to know. The cabin was clean, and well laid out with plenty of space to spread out. There were plenty of towels, and the kitchen was stocked with basic supplies we needed, although we didn’t do any cooking. The house is nicely decorated and comfortable. Location wise, you feel far away from everything, but can be anywhere in Townsend within 5-10 minutes, which was great for a weekend with lots of planned activities. I highly recommend this cabin.

  Overall a very nice place! Rooms were clean & linens well stocked. Kitchen was well stocked also. Easy check in & nice digital welcome package. May I suggest coupons from local businesses & attractions be put in the digital book. It was a an EXTRA SPECIAL BONUS & nice benefit to be able to utilize the WILD LAUREL Golf/Pool/clubhouse / (& fitness facilities although we didn’t get to use the fitness area this time) Your management team was very responsive to our requests. Thank you so much for a memorable stay! We will certainly consider staying there again. DEFINITELY will try to book with SMOKY CABINS if available for future trips!   The cabin was perfect for our 2 family’s of 9. Beautiful place, with hiking and plenty to do nearby. Townsend was peaceful compared to the more touristy areas we have stayed at before. Beautiful neighborhood. Cabins are perfectly spaced apart for privacy. Sitting on the decks in the morning enjoying coffee and the hot tub was a hit! No issues during check in, cabin was very clean and well stocked with toiletries and all amenities. We will definitely be coming back! Host responded immediately when we had a slight mishap with the nest thermostat! (User error) can’t wait to come back to this beautiful place!

  We enjoyed our time at the cabin. It served all our needs as we ventured out and about. We took advantage of the pool and the fitness center over at the country club. Took a drive over to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and as soon as we got caught in traffic we returned to the peaceful side in Townsend. Thank You

  This is the best cabin we have stayed in. With the unbelievable view of the river and the amount of wildlife we witnessed my family agrees this was our best trip to the smokies yet, and we have been vacationing there for several years. The cabin was perfect top to bottom unbelievably clean and all the amenities you could ask for!!

  Beautiful place with lovely view of the magnificent trees surrounding the house. We liked the cedar trusses and the metal sculptures along the lower windows. Accommodated our 5 family members for the wedding of our grandson at the nearby Willow Ridge venue. We liked the Peaceful Side Social and The Abbey in Townsend for food and drinks.

  Very nice cabin on the river.. Love sitting on the deck over the water every morning to watch the wildlife. The cabin was clean and love that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We’ll be back

  We will be back! This is a great location away from the road/town with the peaceful river flowing right out back. It is a bit hard to get into. (I fell in the first day, we had a good laugh about it!) Easy access to the Smoky Mountains about 15 min away. Place was clean and plenty of supplies. We stayed with 4 adults and 2 kids. My in-laws used the downstairs bedroom and couch was comfortable to sleep on. All bedrooms have a private bath which was also nice. Overall we loved the place and are already looking talking about returning next year.

  We enjoyed our stay at Tree House!! We had everything we needed to be comfortable and cozy at the same time for 4 adults to be together but having their own space .The location was awesome and close to restaurants and stores. Would recommend Smoky Cabins to everyone who want a quiet place to rest and relax but close to all the major attractions the Great Smoky Mountains has to offer.   Despite mother nature's winter bomb cyclone cold and ice, it was a fabulous location and not too far off the highway and up treacherous mountains. Perfectly located near groceries and the Townsend entrance to the national Park. Clean, quiet, cozy! Felt very safe and enjoyed amazing shooting stars and moonlit nights. Braved the hot tub at 22' outside. 3 king brs with their own bathrooms were perfect! Will come back to enjoy the spring/summer/fall to enjoy the outdoor areas. It was perfect for us! We loved that cabin like our own, and having it decorated for Christmas was spectacular!

  We enjoyed our stay at the Tree House. We truly felt we were in a treehouse with beautiful views of the trees. The cabin was beautiful and rustic. It accommodated 3 generations nicely. The WiFi worked great. We saw one little bear that tried to steal the front wreath. He was cute. We saw another huge bear in the meadow. The Treehouse was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. We will definitely return!

  I really hate to leave a good review for fear the cabin won’t be available the next time we book, but this place was perfect for us! Nearly every place we considered staying had at least one room with twin or bunk beds. Not this one! Three king sized beds and three full baths with a half bath downstairs couldn’t be a better setup for us. The place was spacious and super clean, and the views were awesome! We absolutely loved listening to the river outside our windows at night. We even spotted a large bobcat in the caves next to the driveway. The location of the cabin is close to Cades Cove which was nearly a daily trip for us. We will definitely be booking this cabin again in the future.

  Great place to stay and the location was amazing. We were afraid that once we got into townsend we would have to drive into pigeon forge to do things but the town had so much to do we were never bored and were actually trying to find extra time to fit in more activities to do.

  This is the perfect spot, secluded yet close to main roads. The deck and patio provide perfect views of Little River and lots of nature. We really enjoyed our time at Getaway on Little River. The only thing that could make it better is mattress toppers on all the beds….it was like sleeping on a rock.

  We really enjoyed the place and hope to come back next year with our family. The place was perfectly suited for 3 individual family units, including a 4 year old and two one year olds; and in addition had space for all to get together. The hot tub was just great. Wifi was also great. 5 to 6 people were using simultaneously

  Beautiful cabin! Beautiful location! We trailered our motorcycles down then road all around TN & NC. So many fun roads and amazing scenery. Ending the day with a soak in the hot tub by the river was just perfect! We loved that each room had a king bed and it’s own bathroom. Kitchen had all we needed. The deck out back is fabulous! Our only suggestions would be mattress toppers ti make the beds more comfy, and affix the hot tub steps to the deck so they don’t slide as you step out.

  This year makes our fifth stay at this cabin. Great location with fishing and swimming steps away from the house. We bring our kayaks and put in a few miles up river and float back to the house. Very convenient. Happy to find the deck upgraded and all the brush cleared from the river bank and beside the house. Makes setting on the back deck and watching the river even more enjoyable than it already was. All things we had talked about last year. We love this place and plan our yearly trip to the smokies around its availability.

  Beautiful and very clean! Thanks for responding to our issue with no heat within a few hours. Would have liked the hot tub to be cleaned maybe once while there. It was dirty by our third day. Loved our stay and had a viewing of the local black bear!

  The Getaway was a perfect fit for our family. The view of rock cliffs along the river was spectacular. Loved getting in the hot tub early in the morning then drinking my coffee in the glider on the porch. We had many adventures and finished the evening with an outside fire.

  The beds upstairs were uncomfortable, a mattress topper may be a good idea. Other than that we had a fantastic stay. We have been coming to the mountains for years and years. This is the only cabin that we are planning on revisiting! VERY easy to get to. No crazy mountain road. It’s on a dead end road, so pretty secluded. There is one neighbor, but we didn’t even see them outside. The view of the little river was great along with the nice Mountain View outback. The noise of the river was very relaxing while sitting on the deck. It was a clean cabin and the owners are very responsive to messages if you need anything. We had a fantastic trip with two other couples !

  Management Response: We will look in to the upstairs mattresses. Mattress satisfaction is so subjective that it's hard to make everyone totally comfortable but if they need attention, we will take care of it. Thank you!!

  This place is amazing! We have a family of six and this felt more like home than anywhere we have ever stayed before. The views. The space. Everything! It’s like there was something for all of us. Close enough to go places such as the Tuckaleechee Caverns and not too far from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. (A little more than 40 minutes but we enjoyed being away from the hustle bustle of it all). We will be staying here again in the near future.

  We really enjoyed the cabin. Plenty of space for our family with teenagers to spread out. Close to Townsend and the Park, and also close enough to Maryville to drive in and pick up dinner. There were minor issues with houskeeping upon arrival, but staff did respond promptly upon notification to clean some of the floors.

  This place was amazing...all bedrooms had a bath, plus a half bath, super clean, well thought out, the outside area was just fabulous, we spent a lot of time on the covered deck watching the geese and the sound of the river was so relaxing, the outside fireplace was so very nice, nice hot tub. This was a sisters getaway weekend with our spouses, and we had a great time.....Will definitely be back...

  This cabin is wonderful! The pictures online do not do it justice. It was super clean and roomy. There are 3 good size bedrooms each with it's own nice bathroom. The kitchen was large, clean, and had everything we needed. The outdoor space was incredible- unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy it this time. We will definitely be back in warmer weather. The rental company was easy to work with. We received our door code in advance and had no trouble with it. They also emailed detailed directions to the cabin which was nice.

  The cabin was great! The deck on back was our favorite place to gather and listen to the river run. We enjoyed watching a variety of wildlife on the water, geese, ducks and even an eagle visited daily! The Christmas decorations added a special feel and made the entire experience feel like home.

  Cabin was perfect. My husband and son went fly fishing and explored the cave. My whole immediate family rented from Smoky Cabins (3 cabins in total) and we were all within 15 minutes of each other. We had Thanksgiving at this cabin and with all the space we practiced social distancing successfully. My son and in-laws stayed upstairs me and my husband were on the bottom floor and none of us could hear each other when we were moving around. This is the perfect place to stay it really was.

  We loved our stay at "The Getaway"! Very clean, quiet and a beautiful setting on the river. We had a small issue with sinks in two bathrooms but was addressed right away when we reported it. Neither the ice maker in the fridge or the separate one was working but that was just a small inconvenience. Gorgeous property and very comfortable.

  This cabin is so nice. We love it and have been staying there for 8 years. My last stay was October 16th & 17th. I was so surprised the cabin was so much cleaner than we have seen it over the years. The last time we stayed the floors were so sticky your feet would stick to the floor. Someone came out immediately and cleaned the floors. It was so nice to come into a clean house. We have already booked the cabin for Christmas. Looking forward to staying again.

  Loved the Cabin, the location, the river in the back. It was so peaceful and serene. Definitely spent a lot of time breathing in some fresh air on the porch throughout various times of the day. The house is very spacious. All 3 rooms have King beds, each room has its own full bathroom with a half bathroom downstairs. Perfect layout and very comfortable! Jacuzzi was clean and ready for guests! Definitely want to return in the Summer!

  Great Cabin on Little River! Easy to get to but still a quiet spot with few other cabins near by. Great River access. Unfortunately weather did not allow for great fishing but I imagine it’s a great spot for smallmouth and trout at the right time of year. Hope to get back soon with better weather and some fishing in the Smokies.
