- Modern Baths: All three full bathrooms are designed with sleek stand-up showers (please note: there are no bathtubs in this home).

Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check-ins or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day
NO PETS ALLOWED OF ANY KIND; IN THIS CABIN.
Check-In:
*3 pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin
Check-Out:
*10 am - Please follow our checkout guidelines.

*On During: October 1st - April 1st
Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins requires a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions, but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in most of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble; we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors.
Cancellation Policy:
*$50 cancellation fee
*Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50)
*Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, this is the amount that we will refund (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 night+tax+cleaning fee

Love this house! Love the location! The house is set up to be VERY comfortable and is decorated VERY nicely. The housekeeping crew was still there working and the owner was there to coordinate the delivery of a very nice dining table. They invited us to go ahead and come inside but we needed to get breakfast items. They gave us directions to a nearby store and completed their tasks prior to our return. We treated our daughter to this trip in celebration of her completing her radiation treatments. She was able to rest and relax mostly on that wonderful back porch. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go again.

Cabin is spacious and well-stocked. Being located right on the river is lovely and relaxing. We plan to stay again. If we could put those great living room recliners out on the back porch, we'd never leave, lol!

The Getaway on Little River was fantastic! Two couples stayed for four days. We enjoyed a dip in the river (although access is difficult), nightly outdoor fires in the beautiful stone fireplace, cooking on the gas grill, and relaxing in the hot tub on the back deck. The glider and Adirondack chairs on the back deck provided a complete escape to nature, where you could watch ducks and otters and listen to the river - there is no better place for morning coffee!
The cabin was well-appointed with comfortable beds, linens in good condition, and electric reclining sofas. The fridge had an ice-maker, and everything was very clean upon our arrival.
I would not hesitate to book this cabin again!

We absolutely LOVED this cabin! Not only was the cabin beautiful and a perfect fit for our family, the location was stunning and secluded. It felt like our own little paradise for the week!
