We absolutely loved our stay at Getaway on Little River! It comfortably accommodated our entire family, and the beautiful views and great location made it the perfect home base for our trip to Townsend. We were able to enjoy all the best of the Great Smoky Mountains, including hiking to Spruce Flats Falls, cliff jumping at the Sinks, Cades Cove, river tubing. and exploring Tuckaleechee Caverns. The kids especially loved relaxing in the hot tub and making s’mores by the fireplace after our adventures. The owners were also wonderful to communicate with—very responsive and helpful from initial booking to checkout. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while enjoying everything the area has to offer. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house in a great secluded location!

Absolutely loved the spot. It should be called A Little Piece of Heaven. We really needed time to unwind and this is exactly where you need to do it.
Chris and Barbara Parsons (Hattiesburg, MS)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. This was our second time and we can’t decide if we loved the Fall or Summer more 😊 The cabin is central to attractions and family but we enjoyed all the wildlife observed from the serene back deck overlooking the river. Can’t wait to return next year 😊
Joseph Diamond (Milton, FL)
Enjoyed the time I spent there. Went with my older son. The cabin was very nice and quiet. Saw deer, turkey, rabbits, Little small short legged furry thing we don't have in Florida. Saw chipmunk, Momma duck with about 12 little ones all in a line behind mom. Geese, turtles. Many fireflies. Great place to relax. Lots of room and wonderful view of river.

Great cabin. Very clean, well stocked. The view from the covered porch is beautiful and the outdoor fireplace by the water is outstanding.

Loved our stay! The setting is beautiful and the house was perfect for 3 couples with the king beds in all rooms and each bedroom had its in bathroom. It was a perfect stay and everything was even better than expected! Cathy was very helpful and provided very detailed information. We can’t wait to go back!!!
Clinton Jackson (Silverhill, AL)
We always enjoy staying at ANY of your locations! All of the cabins are always beyond our expectations! The Getaway however, has become our favorite. The location of the cabin is perfect for getting away and getting some much needed peace from our hectic lives. It also allows space for us to bring other family and friends who have all come to love Townsend and The Smoky Mountains. It is a 12 hour drive for us but is worth every mile! We’ve made so many memories there over the years and look forward to making many more!
William Boyd, Jr. (Dayton, TN)
This is our fourth stay in this “cabin”. As always, it is clean and spotless, well organized and delightful to stay in. Viewing nature from the back deck while drinking our morning coffee is our favorite pastime.
