Step into the large, comfy living room, where oversized windows and sliding glass doors frame the beautiful scenery outside. On chilly mountain evenings, you can curl up by the seasonal gas fireplace and watch the shadows dance across the trees.

- Master Suite: Features a luxurious King-size bed, a flat-screen TV, ample storage in the dresser and closet, and the added privacy of an ensuite half-bathroom.
- Second Bedroom: Perfect for families, this room offers a Queen-size bed and a Twin bed, plus its own flat-screen TV and plenty of closet space.

- Holiday Schedule: Out of respect for our staff, we do not allow check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day.
- No Pets: Absolutely no pets of any kind are allowed at Owl’s Roost.

NO PETS ALLOWED OF ANY KIND; IN THIS CABIN.
Check-In:
*3 pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin
Check-Out:
*10 am - Please follow our checkout guidelines.

*On During: October 1st - April 1st
Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins requires a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions, but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in most of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble; we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors.
Cancellation Policy:
*$50 cancellation fee
*Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50)
*Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, this is the amount that we will refund (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 night+tax+cleaning fee

Peace and tranquility abound in this cottage. The road ends here. There are other cabins nearby but we never heard anything but nature. Every effort has been made for relaxing...from the comfortable beds to the hot tub on the screened in porch. There are many choices of books, puzzles, and DVDs. The rocking chairs and swing on the porch are great places for watching the birds and animals. If you're lucky, you might see an owl too! The kitchen is well stocked with lots of pans, utensils, dishes, glasses, and coffee cups. There's even a dishwasher to help with clean up! There's also a nice outdoor fire pit and grill. I've stayed in many places over the years, and this has truly been one of the best stays. We hope to stay here again when we're visiting Cades Cove and the national park.

Owls Roost was just what we expected and were looking for after seeing the photos. It was cheery and very comfortable. We loved the porch and actually saw a screech owl just off the porch looking at us before it flew off to join a friend calling in the distance. Our only drawback was not spending more time at the cabin. We hope to return someday soon.
